Coastal Community Bank

Turmoil in community banking created investment opportunities in 2008. Montlake co-led a growth equity investment in Coastal Community Bank in 2011. During Montlake’s ten-year tenure as a key shareholder and board member, Coastal expanded profitably adding new branches, and launching fintech/banking as a service, transforming the future of the banking industry. Coastal completed its NASDAQ IPO trading as CCB. In 2021 following service on the executive committee, audit committee and as designated financial expert in the IPO, Andy Dale retired from the board of directors.
